Alfa supplied engines to the IndyCar World Series from 1989. Roberto Guerrero was behind the wheel of the car in the 1989 season, but only managed one 8^th place finish all season. The following year he did a little better with a 5^th place finish. Alfa Romeo abandoned their association with Indycars in 1991 after this poor run, without even a single podium finish. But don’t let that dampen your appetite for them, Alfa Romeo cars are still very worthy.
